Conscious Food was started by Kavita Mukhi, pioneer of the organic food movement in India. KMS (Titoo) Ahluwalia – an early and passionate advocate acquired the company in 2004 to further expand its reach. Initially catering to a very small group of believers from a small store on Malabar Hill, Mumbai, the company today is the trusted brand for organic food online and across India. The company aims to promote organic (chemical-free) and natural (whole, unrefined, unadulterated) foods in order to keep the earth and her people healthy.
Chefs and individuals were trying to go back to their traditional cuisine and rediscovering ancient grains,” explains Aditi Malik. The 53-year-old had, by then, already started consuming organic food herself.
